In Mexico, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) disseminates the evolution of gross fixed capital investment corresponding to June.
The OECD publishes inflation figures in its member countries.

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), based in Santiago, Chile, updates its growth estimates for the region for this year and 2024.
The Brazilian government discloses the growth of industrial production in July.
The Central Bank of Chile makes a decision on the referential interest rate, which last July fell to 10.25% after months at the all-time high of 11.25%.

Argentina publishes the short-term index of construction activity for last July, which contracted 1.5% the previous month, and the manufacturing industrial production index (IPI manufacturing) also for July, which the previous month had fallen by 1.3%.
Mexico publishes advance inflation data for the month of August. Also, the data for that month from the automotive industry, the country’s main industry, after growth of almost 14% in production in July.

The Eurostat community statistics office publishes GDP data and its aggregates for the second quarter of 2023 in the EU and the euro area, as well as employment data for that period in both areas.
