Iwona Wieczorek disappeared on July 17, 2010 and has not been found so far. On the evening before that fateful night, she had an appointment with her friend Adria and three friends – Paweł, Marek and Adrian, to go to a disco in Sopot. After midnight, a group of young people decided to go to the Crooked House in Sopot, where the Dream Club was located.
There was supposed to be a quarrel between Iwona and Adria in the disco. Around 3:00 a.m., 19-year-old Iwona left the club and walked along the seaside promenade towards home. Before 4:00 in the morning the teenager’s phone discharged, and at 4:12 passed the entrance no. 63 to the beach in Gdańsk Jelitkowo. There, the trace of Iwona ends. So far, she has not been found – neither alive nor dead.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise that a series dedicated entirely to this case was created. “The case of Iwona Wieczorek” initially appeared at the end of June on the Viaplay streaming service, but from the beginning of September the production can also be watched on Netflix.
