“Digital Nomads” is a Multitrabajos report in which 13,925 applicants from the region participated: 3,244 from Argentina, 3,355 from Chile, 3,196 from Ecuador, 2,641 from Panama and 1,489 from Peru.
It explores how common it is for people to work while traveling the world and how supported this lifestyle is by companies.
“Digital Nomads” they are professionals who embrace technology to implement a lifestyle in which they take their remote work anywhere.
“This tendency of the human being to want to travel the world is not something new, but thanks to technology today it is possible to do it for a large number of talents. And that crystallizes in the fact that flexibility with respect to schedules and the geographical location from which you work is one of the main demands of workers when choosing a job”explains Jeff Morales, Marketing Manager of Multitrabajos.com.

Regarding the disadvantages of being a digital nomad, the 3. 4% of those consulted indicated that the hardest thing is having to get away from family and friends.
