PSG reminded that Neymar wanted to stay at the club, amid words about the hell he went through
Paris Saint-Germain reacted to the words of former team striker Neymar that he and Argentinean Lionel Messi went through hell while playing for the club. Statement leads PSG Report.
“We do not give any comments. We have a certain elegance. Curiously, both players [Месси и Неймар] wanted to stay at PSG,” the team’s press service recalled.
On September 3, Neymar spoke about leaving Messi for PSG. “I was very happy for Messi, for his season, despite the fact that he went through all this. He went to heaven with Argentina and he went through hell in Paris. We went through hell together, he and I,” Neymar described the situation.
On July 15, 36-year-old Messi became a player in the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami. His agreement with the team runs until the end of the 2024/2025 season. He has been playing for PSG since 2021.
