The Russian authorities They have threatened this Friday with attack military production facilities deployed by Western countries in Ukraine in the framework of the Russian invasion of the territory.

Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskovhas indicated that these facilities will become “legitimate targets for the Russian Armed Forces“, according to information from Russian news agencies.

“It is obvious that all weapons production facilities, especially when those weapons are used against us, will become the focus of special attention of our military”, he said during a press conference in which he addressed the reports on the deployment of this aid, especially by the United Kingdom.

Likewise, he recalled that the presence of these facilities will not exactly contribute to the reduction of tension nor to end the conflict, and will not serve to undermine Russia’s “successful special military operation”, which began in February 2022.

The Russian President, Vladimir Putinhas insisted that said “operation” seeks “protect the population against genocide of the regime of Kyiv and thus tackle the risks to national security posed by NATO’s advance to the east”.
