Argentina’s mining exports reach record level in 11 years

The exports mining of Argentina totaled 2,321 million dollars in the first seven months of the year, 4.3% more than in the same period of the previous year and reached the highest level since 2012, the Ministry of Mining reported on Wednesday.

“These numbers are the result of a government that promotes the development of mining activity in the country,” said Fernanda Ávila, the country’s Mining Secretary.

“We must continue working to create the necessary conditions so that the mining industry can be a key vector of development for the country,” he added.

As for lithium, Argentina exported 74 million dollars in July, 21.9% less than in the same month of 2022.
