The search operation for the Titanic submarine has found some remains of the missing ship during an expedition to the remains of the Titanic. The Coast Guard has reported the discovery of some debris, among which is the landing frame and the rear of the submarine.

According to BBC, there is no trace of the hull of the apparatus, where the five men who are still missing would travel. The finding also occurs hours after the deadline estimated by the submarine’s own agency to exhaust the oxygen on board has expired.

Specifically, the experts had established 7:08 a.m. local time (1:08 p.m. peninsular time in Spain) this Thursday as the approximate threshold at which the five people traveling aboard the Titan would run out of oxygen. Even so, two new ships from Canada and France had joined the search this Thursday in this area of the Atlantic.

The submarine disappeared on Sunday and, without any opening, the margin of survival on board was estimated at 96 hours.
