A Canadian plane has detected underwater noises in the search area for the missing tourist submarine as it carried passengers on a voyage to the deep-sea Titanic wreck off the coast of Canada, the United States.

According to the Coast Guard, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) have been deployed to explore the source of the noise, but the results so far have been negative.

“ROV searches have returned negative results but are continuing. In addition, data from the (Canadian) aircraft has been shared with our US Navy experts for further analysis to be considered in future search plans,” the ROV said. Coast Guard.

The submersible disappeared on Sunday about 700 kilometers off the Newfoundland coast, with no clues to its whereabouts at the moment. She lost contact with the surface less than two hours after starting the dive and experts estimate that the oxygen on board can last up to 96 hours, in the best of scenarios.

The luxury liner ‘Titanic’ is located about 600 kilometers off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, at a depth of 3,800 meters below the sea surface. Its shipwreck occurred in 1912 and resulted in more than 1,500 deaths, although the remains of the wreck were not located until 1985.
