More than 800 people have been arrested in the Netherlands for blocking one of the country’s main highways. The demonstrators demanded that the government stop subsidizing the fossil fuels, as can be seen in the video above.

“We should try our best, with everything we have, to get rid of the fuel industry fossil”, one of the demonstrators told journalists. On the other hand, in London two activists, members of ‘Just Stop Oil’, have invaded the field during the final of the Rugby league.

Meanwhile, in the French capital they have also protested against oil and plastic. greenpeace has placed a gigantic work by Canadian artist Benjamin Von Wong in front of the UNESCO headquarters to denounce the flood that the planet suffers of this stuff. In this way, they want to demand that the international treaty to be negotiated next week in Paris reduce the plastic consumption.
