Twitter You cannot evade your obligations even after you have abandoned a code of practice volunteer of the EU to face the disinformationwarned the company on Friday the head of Industry of the EU, Thierry Breton.

The Digital Services Act (DSA) requires Twitter, Google, Meta Platforms Inc, Microsoft Corp, Alibaba AliExpress and five other major platforms to do more to prevent illegal content online. Companies face fines of up to 6% of their global turnover for violations.
Twitter, which no longer has a public relations departmentresponded to an email request for comment with a poop emoji.
