At least one person died and 15 others were injured in a Russian missile attack on a hospital in the city of Dnipro, in southeastern Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky reported this Friday, who has indicated that there could be more victims under the rubble.

“Russian terrorists have once again confirmed their status as combatants against everything humane and honest,” Zelensky denounced in a message posted through his Telegram account, where he also defended that they should “defeat these inhumans irrevocably and as soon as possible.” “It is our moment and it is our people, and our people are the most precious thing that Ukraine has,” he added.

Likewise, the Ukrainian president has explained that the Rescue teams are already in the area. and they are removing debris to reach the victims. “All the necessary services are involved,” she said, before conveying her condolences to the families of the victims.

Previously, the authorities had denounced a new attack by Russian forces against a medical facility in the area and pointed to several victims. “Racist bastards have attacked a healthcare facility. There are victims,” ​​said the region’s governor, Serhii Lisak, in a message on his Telegram account, while indicating that the information is being verified, and has asked the population to avoid disseminating unverified information.

In this sense, Lisak has stressed that shortly before several explosions have been heard in the city, the most populous in Ukraine and, subsequently, the air alarms have sounded. The Armed Forces have estimated that they have managed to destroy at least a dozen cruise missiles and 23 ‘Shahed’ drones throughout the night.
