China protests to Japanese ambassador for “attacks” on Beijing during G7 summit

The Chinese Foreign Ministry presented a protest this Sunday before the Japanese ambassador in Beijing, Hideo Tarumiby “the slanders” and “The attacks” to China during the recent G7 meeting in the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

The final conclusion document of the Group of Seven – France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States and Canada – sent several messages to China.

The text highlighted the need for constructive relations in economic matters with the Asian giant, and in other points dedicated to the war in Ukraine and the situation in Asia-Pacific, called on Beijing to mediate with Moscow and asked it to put an end to its demands for sovereignty “unjustified” and to resolve the tensions around taiwan by peaceful way.

The vice chancellor reiterated that Taiwan belongs to China, that the resolution of “the Taiwan issue is a matter for the Chinese themselves to decide” and that Beijing “will not allow outside forces to interfere” in matters such as Xinjiang, Hong Kong or Tibet.

Likewise, Sun accused the United States of “who most endangers the rules of international order and disturbs the functioning of the world economy”.

The time when Western countries interfered in the internal affairs of other countries and manipulated world affairs has passed into history.”, asserted the diplomat, who urged the group to “stop causing division and confrontation”.

The diplomat asked Tokyo to “correct your perception towards China”, “understand their strategic autonomy” and “truly promote the stable development of relations between the two countries in a constructive manner.”
