A fire in a car warehouse causes a toxic cloud in Hamburg

The Hamburg Police warned the population this Sunday about the extension of toxic gases towards the center of that German cityafter a fire broke out in a warehouse and car workshop in the Rothenburgsort district.
The fire broke out last morning and since early in the morning there have been warnings about the presence of a large cloud of toxic gases over that part of the German port city, about 5 kilometers from the center.
140 residents have been evacuated from the affected area, but in the following hours it has been observed that the cloud was moving rapidly towards the center of Hamburg.
The local police have called the population to close the doors and windows of their houseswhile some 200 members of the fire brigade try to extinguish the fire.
The warning from the authorities applies to the entire center of Hamburg and to practically the outskirts, while alerting that there were dangerous chemical substances at the accident site.
