Pension supplement for seniors over 60. Bonus PLN 200

Seniors can count on an additional PLN 200. This applies to men who have been active firefighters of the Volunteer Fire Brigade or mountain rescuers for 25 years. The same applies to women, but their seniority should be at least 20 years. They will receive an additional benefit to the pension they receive if they have reached the required retirement age and actively participated in rescue operations (at least once a year). The money will be paid by the Pension and Disability Institution of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, but you must first submit an appropriate application there to be able to apply for it.

Contrary to appearances, the benefit is not only addressed to women, but men can also apply for it. After meeting the appropriate conditions, they will receive even PLN 1,588.44 gross every month. It is a supplementary parental benefit which can significantly contribute to the budget of seniors and seniors. What do they have to do to get them?

• Retirement age must be reached (60 for women and 65 for men);
• You must raise at least four children (in the case of women);
• At least four children should be brought up when their mother was not involved in raising the offspring for a long time or simply abandoned them (in the case of men);
• The application should be submitted to a branch of the Social Insurance Institution or a branch of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund.

Importantly, the colloquial benefit referred to as Mama 4+ is indexed every year. From March 1, 2023, it amounts to PLN 1,588.44 gross, which is exactly the minimum pension. As indicated by , if a senior receives an old-age pension, but it is lower than the minimum benefit, the supplement will simply top up this amount.
