The leader of Forza Italia and three times Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconiis again admitted to the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, from which he was discharged on March 30 after spending three days hospitalized to undergo some controls, the Italian media reported on Wednesday.

The former president has undergone a computed tomography (TAC) and is waiting for other tests to be carried out, according to the newspaper ‘Corriere della Sera’, which adds that, according to some sources, Berlusconi would be in the intensive care unit for pulmonary and cardiovascular problems.

The 86-year-old leader of Forza Italia was hospitalized at the Milan hospital from Monday to Thursday for what they defined as “medical controls“.

Berlusconi, leader of Italian politics in three different terms and whose formation is currently part of the ruling coalition led by the far-right Giorgia Meloni, has had a pacemaker implanted since 2006 and carries health problems.

In 2020 he was admitted with coronavirus and one bilateral pneumonia at San Raffaele, although he was discharged a few days later, although since then he has repeatedly visited the hospital, such as in January 2022, when he was also in the same hospital for a urinary tract infection.
