At least 37 people have died in a fire registered this Tuesday in a center for migrants in Ciudad Juárez (Mexico), as confirmed by the country’s authorities.
Civil Protection sources cited by the newspaper The Chihuahua Herald They have indicated that another 28 people have been injured by the fire, which has already been put out.
The number of victims could increase in the next few hours, since several injured are in critical condition.
The fire started at a station of the National Migration Institute (INM) in Ciudad Juárez, near the Rio Grande that divides Mexico and the United States.
At the moment the causes of the incident are unknown.
