The transport mega-strikeas the conveners themselves have called, which is taking place this Monday the 27th in Germany, is leaving airports and train stations with all operations canceled and thousands of travelers on the ground.

The German Minister of the InteriorNancy Faeser, has asked for responsibility to employers and unions to reach “good solutions” before the start of the third round of talks on the collective agreement for the 2.5 million public service employees at the federal and municipal levels.

Ryanair cancels flights at four airports

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has reported that it has canceled a “reduced number” of flights to and from Cologne, Hamburg, Nuremberg and Bremen airports as a result of the strike. The company has indicated that all affected customers will be notified about the suspension of their trips through email, text messages and alerts on mobile devices.
