The anti-aircraft alarms have deafened the main Ukrainian cities this morning. Russia has launched a new massive attack that has triggered alarms throughout the country after weeks without waves of bombardments. Kremlin targets have been relocated to critical infrastructure from Ukraine.

Specifically, explosions have been heard in the Kharkiv, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions and other places, as well as in two districts of the capital. Besides, energy facilities in the south have been hit.

After midnight the map of anti-aircraft alarms began to turn red in the country. According to the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, Suspline, explosions were also heard in Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky and Vinnitsa.

“Explosions in the Holosiv district of the capital. All services go to the place“, wrote the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko in his Telegram account. Later, he added that there was a second explosion in the Svyatoshin district, where cars were burning in the courtyard of one of the residential buildings. According to the mayor, two people have had to be hospitalized.

This Thursday morning the air alert continues. “Stay in the shelters!” Demanded the councilor, who has indicated that, due to the missile attack, emergency power cuts have been used and that “currently around 15% of consumers are without electricity“.

The energy company DTEK pointed out on its Facebook page that “due to an enemy attack, emergency power outages are used” as a mandatory preventive measure that will prevent significant damage to the energy infrastructure if enemy missiles hit the target.

The head of the Odesa Military Administration Maksym Marchenko confirmed that Russian missiles impacted the energy infrastructure of the regionas well as in residential buildings.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties.. Power supply restrictions are currently in effect. According to the results of the air defense units, missiles have been shot down. The work continues, the second wave is expected at this time, so I ask the residents of the region to stay in the shelters, “he wrote on his Telegram account.

In the Kharkov region of eastern Ukraine, Russia has launched some 15 attacks on the province and the city of the same nameas the head of the Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, wrote in the same application.

“Objects of critical infrastructure are once again in the crosshairs of the occupiers. Previously there was a coup in a private residential building in the region. Information about the victims and the scale of the destruction is being clarified,” she noted.
