Hong Kong plans to boost tourism, business and investment, giving away 500,000 plane tickets to visitors and residents of the city. Various local airlines such as Cathay Pacific, HK Express and Hong Kong Airlines and Great Bay Airlines are participating in this initiative that will last six months and involve an investment of close to 250 million euros.
This campaign, called “Hello Hong Kong”, aims to get the city to resume activity after three years of sanitary restrictions and a crisis due to the pandemic from covid.

This March 1, the first stage began, which is open to residents of all Southeast Asia, while the second stage aimed at residents of mainland China would take place on April 2. As for travelers from Europe, the United States and the rest of the world, tickets will be opened from May 1.
In addition, in July, Hong Kong residents will be able to participate in a raffle for 80,000 free tickets to travel abroad.
People who would be interested in registering for the plane ticket raffle can register on the Hong Kong airport website or through the pages of the airlines involved.
These tickets will be awarded through a lottery system or by order of arrival and purchase, according to the tourist office, which is why nothing will be guaranteed.
It is worth mentioning that this campaign covers round-trip tickets in economy class, those who benefit from this award must pay the corresponding surcharges, fees and taxes and after landing at the Hong Kong airport, visitors will receive a series of discounts of 1,500 attractions and services of the city.
