The French government this Saturday paid tribute to the 130 fatalities and 350 wounded from the jihadist attacks of November 13, 2015, on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the attacks, the worst on French soil since World War II.
French Prime Minister Jean Castex led the tributes that were held at the main points where the explosions and shootings took place.
The Stade de France, in Saint-Denis; the Petit Carillon and Petit Cambodge restaurants; the bars of La Bonne Bière, Comptoir Voltaire and La Belle Équipe; and the Bataclán theater were the object of tributes that included a floral offering.
The most emotional happened in the Bataclán, in the heart of Paris, where 90 people were murdered, most of them attending a heavy metal concert.
During that fateful night, several jihadist commandos acted simultaneously in different areas of Paris, sowing chaos and panic.
Precisely this tribute coincides with the media macrojudgment against the jihadists still alive who were involved in the attacks.
“Today, Paris is not forgetting November 13,” the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, also present at the tribute, said on Twitter.
