The Army of USA shot down this morning the alleged spy balloon of China over the Atlantic Ocean, a US official told CNN.
The alleged spy balloon was first sighted over US soil in the city of Mountainat the beginning of the week.
According to witnesses, the object traveled through the center of the country following weather patterns before leaving the continental United States this Saturday.

At noon, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, reported that his government would take over the spy balloon. Hours later, an order from the Federal Aviation Administrationclosed three airports and restricted airspace over North and South Carolina, “in support of the Department of Defense.”
This episode has resulted in a new wave of tensions between beijing and washingtonwhich caused the postponement of a trip by the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to China, scheduled for the next few days.
Later, the brigadier general and spokesman for the Pentagon, Patrick Ryder, said Friday that the US government is tracking the balloon, “which is as big as three buses”.

He added that it was traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic, and did not present a physical or military threat to people on the ground.
Until last Friday, military officials had advised Joe Biden not to shoot down the balloon for fear that the debris could pose a threat to the safety of people on the ground, a defense official said.
