The price of dollar in Mexico operates in the early hours of Thursday to the downside, while the agents make bets on the next movements of the central banks and, especially, of the Federal Reserve of USA.
The exchange rate is listed at 18,801 pesos per dollar, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
“Investors will be attentive to company reports and economic data with which they can anticipate a slowdown in the Fed’s rate hikes”said analysts from the financial group Ve por Más.

It is worth mentioning that the Mexican currency has shown a favorable trend against the dollar since December of last year. And it is that the US authorities implemented a series of monetary policy measures to avoid excessive inflation.
In this sense, since December 6, 2022, the price of the Mexican peso has improved against the dollar.

The currencies of Latin America recorded a mixed close yesterday, in the midst of a slight global decline in the dollar, while the agents make bets on the next movements of the central banks and, especially, of the Federal Reserve from United States.
According to Reuters Agency, the dollar lost ground against the euro on Wednesday, in a day of little trading, as investors were hesitant to place big bets ahead of next week’s central bank meetings, between them the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank.
Also, much of Asia is celebrating Lunar New Year and as a result, most major currencies were clinging to known ranges.
