The trial against the parents of what is known as the ‘House of Horrors’ in France begins. Both face five years in prison for the hell to which they subjected their ten children. Before the start of the trial, we heard the testimony of Bryan Rouzé, one of the brothers, who remembers what it was like to live in that house.
Bryan denounces that his parents, always unemployed, lived on social benefits, which is why they had so many children. Now, they are all under the guardianship of the state. Every time there was a visit from social affairs, always with advance notice, they cleaned the house thoroughly, brainwashing the little ones so that they would not reveal the ill-treatment.
Of the ten siblings, there were seven minors between the ages of 2 and 16. The three older brothers suffered abuse. According to Bryan, there were “beatings with sticks, with safety boots or with whips.”
The young man asks that they “go to prison”, and not for “two months or two years”. “If there were no children in the house, they lost money,” he says.
