Visitors to the World Trade Center station lived moments of suspense this Tuesday afternoon, when the New York Police ordered the evacuation of all people from the place due to a suspicious package.
Officials issued an urgent warning just before 3:30 p.m. urging people to stay away from the Oculus transportation hub because of the package, which they now believe to be a pressure cooker.

The object, according to police, was left in a car of a Newark PATH train in New Jersey, which remained in the station for more than an hour before it was found.
The incident did not last long, because at 4:00 p.m. the transport system was working again. However, police warned in a tweet that “after a previous closure, traffic will resume as normal. Expect residual delays in the surrounding area.”
