A human avalanche leaves at least eight dead and dozens injured at the Astroworld Festival in Houston

At least eight people have died and dozens have been injured in Houston, Texas (USA), as a consequence of a the human tide occurred during the first night of the Astroworld Festival macro music festival, held at the NRG Park sports and leisure complex.

According to the first investigations, the incident took place during one of the first concerts of the night, that of the singer Travis Scott, when a crowd of people gathered in front of the stage and “began to crush the people who were in the front row,” as explained by the Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña.
