The Russian head of judges who “did nasty” at the Olympic Games was left without elections in the FIG

Russian Natalya Kuzmina, who, according to trainer Irina Viner-Usmanova, “did nasty things at the Olympic Games,” will not be allowed until the election of the head of the technical committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in rhythmic gymnastics. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source.

The decision was made at a meeting of the FIG disciplinary committee. It is noted that Kuzmina’s request to restore her electoral rights remained rejected.

On October 30, Kuzmina was included in the list of candidates for the position of the head of the FIG technical committee. She filed a complaint with an independent ethics foundation, which returned the situation to a pre-conflict state.

On September 8, the head of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics (VFHG) Viner-Usmanova withdrew Kuzmina’s candidacy from the election of the head of the FIG technical committee, stressing that “she did something nasty at the Olympic Games.” The reason was the refereeing of the Russian woman at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where the winner in the individual all-around was the Israeli Lina Ashram, who bypassed the Russian woman Dina Averina. At the same time, the representative of Israel dropped the object during the last speech.
