Media: Former deputy head of the European Parliament Eva Kaili confessed. “I knew about the suitcases with the money”

“I knew about Panzeri’s activities and I knew there were suitcases full in my house,” Eva Kaili told the judge. Italian and Belgian newspapers report, citing investigators, that the former vice-president admitted that she knew about bribes and the involvement in corruption of her partner Francesco Giorgi and former Italian MEP Antonio Panzeri.
