Microsoft has acknowledged problems with printers that work with Windows computers. This is reported by the BleepingComputer edition.
The company’s specialists said that Microsoft is aware of these problems. As noted by the journalists, the problems arose after the release of updates KB5006674 for Windows 11 and KB5006670 for Windows 10.
According to experts, the updates could again affect the function of remote printing via network equipment. Most often, breakdowns are encountered by employees of enterprises using corporate versions of the Microsoft operating system. However, many users of home versions of Windows cannot connect to the company’s servers for remote printing.
Microsoft representatives promised to fix bugs in the future. As a temporary measure, the company’s engineers recommended that corporate users contact their system administrators to update the TCP connection to the print server.
In October, it became known that office equipment maker Brother had revealed problems with its devices when interacting with Windows 11. In July, it was reported that attackers had found a way to hack computers through printers.
