China. The longest mission in space has been completed. Astronauts are building the “Heavenly Palace” station

The time that the crew spent in space went down in the history of the local conquests. No other Chinese group had spent so much time in orbit. The world record belongs, however, to Valery Polakov, whose mission in space lasted 437 days. In total, however, Sergei Krikalov spent the most time in space, who spent a total of 803 days in the extraterrestrial space during six flights. The flight of the Shenzhou-13 crew was groundbreaking for one more reason. Wang Yaping became the first woman in Chinese history to walk in space.

The astronauts landed nine hours after leaving the key module of China’s first space station. According to state media, the Shenzhou-13 astronauts were reportedly in orbit to conduct a “docking experiment” with the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft.

set off into orbit in October 2021. The Shenzhou-13 crew conducted the fifth of eleven missions to build Tiangong (Heavenly Palace) Station. According to the Reuters Agency, the Chinese government has announced that due to the ban on research on the International Space Station (ISS), they will want to launch their own space station by the end of 2022.

We remind you, following Reuters, that they want to become a cosmic power by 2030. They had already successfully launched probes to investigate, and were the first country to land a spaceship on the shaded side.
