Recently, Epic has spoiled players. Just a week ago, an excellent s / f strategy hit the catalog of free games XCOM 2, developed by Firaxis Games studio, founded by the legendary Sid Meier. There will be no such fireworks this week, but that does not mean that we will get games that are not worth bothering about.
Amnesia: Rebirth and Riverbound for free from Epic Games Store
The first production made available by Epic is Amnesia: Rebirth. This is a first-person horror film from the Swedish studio Frictional Games, which has, for example, the excellent Prenumbra or Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a prequel to Rebirth. The new Amnesia received a rating of 80/100 (PC version) from Metacritic, which is a great result. In this installment of the series, we play the role of Tasi Trianon. The woman lost her memory and embarks on a dark journey to regain her memories.
The second free title from Epic is Riverbond, a game whose atmosphere is completely opposite to the terrifying Amnesia. We are dealing here with a combination of RPG and hack-and-slash genres, all in a picturesque and voxel visual setting. In Riverbond we can play alone, but much more fun is having fun with friends in the local co-op mode.
As always, both titles will be available for free in the Epic Games Store for a week, which in this case is until April 28 at 5 PM. People who have an active account on the service can add them to their library.
