Consumer electronics manufacturer LG Electronics has suspended all deliveries to Russia
Consumer electronics manufacturer LG Electronics said it had suspended all deliveries to Russia. It is reported by TASS with reference to the company’s statement.
“LG Electronics is suspending all deliveries to Russia and will continue to monitor developments closely,” the company said in a statement. It also states that the manufacturer is “deeply concerned about the health and safety of all people” and LG remains committed to “supporting humanitarian relief efforts.”
At the same time, the company did not specify what situation is in question.
Earlier, the head of the Content Review agency, Sergey Polovnikov, expressed the opinion that due to sanctions and the exit from the market of some companies in Russia, problems may arise with the supply of Western equipment. However, there is no complete ban on such trade, so there will be ways to buy gadgets through third countries. Any neighboring country that has not joined the sanctions and plans to continue to cooperate with Russia can become a hub for the supply of equipment, Polovnikov believes.
