Third-generation AirPods users from China criticized the new Vietnamese-assembled Apple headphones. This is reported by the publication GizmoChina.
Reporters drew attention to messages on the Chinese Weibo, in which the first owners of AirPods complain about the quality of the products. Many consumers who received headphones marked “Made in Vietnam”, after a few days of use, called gadgets made in that country undesirable for purchase.
According to visitors to social networks, AirPods have design flaws: uneven seams, plastic burrs sticking out in different directions, scuffs. Some bloggers noted that the poor quality of the headphones is unlikely to be caused specifically by the Vietnamese assembly, as Apple suppliers assemble the company’s devices according to common standards in all regions.
Experts called the cause of the marriage malfunctions in production and in quality control departments. The authors believe that the problem may only be related to the first batch of AirPods.
The next generation AirPods went on sale on October 26th. In Russia, the cost of a wireless headset is 16,490 rubles.
