The cost of the iPhone 12 Pro Max has decreased in the Russian market to 90 thousand rubles. This publication reports Hi-Tech Mail.ru.
According to the media catalog, the iPhone 12 Pro Max in the starting configuration with 128 gigabytes of internal memory was available on the market for less than 90 thousand rubles – this is a record figure. At the start of sales – in November 2020 – the expensive flagship was sold in Russia at a recommended price of 110 thousand rubles. Thus, the reduction in price was about 20 percent.
“Against the background of the release of models of the new iPhone 13 line, old devices began to compare favorably with their cost,” the authors of the publication noted. The journalists emphasized that the iPhone 12 Pro Max “incorporated the best features of its line.” The flagship device has a 6.7-inch OLED display, an Apple A14 Bionic chip, six gigabytes of RAM, a triple camera with 12 megapixel lenses each, and a 3687 milliamp-hour battery.
In 2022, Apple does not release or sell the flagship smartphones of the iPhone 12 Pro series. However, younger models are available in the company’s online store – iPhone 12 and 12 mini. The cost of devices starts from 55 thousand rubles.
In early February, journalists noticed that the new iPhone 13 fell in price in Russia by more than 15 percent. Estimated at the start of sales at 80 thousand rubles, the phone can be purchased for less than 60 thousand rubles.
