Gran Turismo 7 (March 4, 2022 | PS4, PS5)
After a moderately successful Gran Turismo Sport, Polyphony Digital studio has something to prove. After all, we’re talking about the makers of one of the best racing simulator series ever. On the trailers, Gran Turismo 7 looks insane. The game is to squeeze the last juices out of the PlayStation 5 console, offering gameplay in native 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
And the gameplay? Here we have to wait for the premiere with the assessment. Personally, I count on a realistic driving model, which has always been the hallmark of this series and made it stand out from the dexterity races.
Ghostwire: Tokyo (March 25, 2022 | PS4, PS5, PC)
99 percent of Tokyo is gone. population, and the Japanese metropolis has been overrun by yokai ghosts and mysterious figures hiding their faces behind masks. The very description of Ghostwire: Tokyo can be a bit scary, and if we add the fact that Shinji Mikami, the “father” of the Resident Evil series, is behind the game, we get a recipe for a full-blooded horror movie.
On the trailers of Ghostwire: Tokyo, it impresses with its great graphics and oneiric atmosphere. We can only wait and hope that Tango Gameworks, the studio responsible for The Evil Within, will once again be up to the challenge.
Forspoken (May 24, 2022 | PC, PS5)
Luminous Productions is a relatively young studio that was introduced to the broad waters of gaming thanks to Final Fantasy XV. Now the Japanese have decided to create something completely new. We are talking about Forspoken, a third-person action game in which we play the role of Frey Holland. This seemingly ordinary girl, as a result of unexplained events, instantly moves from modern New York to the magical land of Athia.
One of the unique elements of Forspoken is to be the main character’s movement system, which the creators refer to as “magical parkour”. The game will also feature dynamic and spectacular clashes, all with remarkable visuals.
The Day Before (June 21, 2022 | PC)
If you’ve been wondering what the combination of Days Gone and The Division could look like, you’ll soon be able to find out about it, thanks to the fairly anonymous Russian studio Fntastic.
Already in June, their first major production will have its premiere. The Day Before is a survival MMO game that takes us to a post-apocalyptic world dominated by zombies. Compared to other popular online games, the title is to stand out with its next-gen audiovisual setting and spectacular clashes with hordes of zombies.
Starfield (November 11, 2022 | (XSX, PC)
More than seven years have passed since the Bethesda studio’s last great premiere. Fallout 76 appeared along the way, but the Todd Howard team would prefer to forget about it. In 2022, however, the creators of Skyrim plan to return in a big way. Starfield, because we are talking about this production, is an RPG set in the distant future, in which we play the roles of space travelers
The creators announce that the greatest strength of Starfield will be the character development system and extensive and varied quests, during which we will have to face numerous moral choices.
