Samsung’s new flagship turned out to be suitable for a refurbishment. This was stated by the author of the video on the YouTube channel PBKreviews.
The specialist dismantled the flagship device into parts and showed the insides of the device. The author noted that before any interaction with the details of the Galaxy S22, you need to remove the back cover of the phone. To do this, heat the panel and use a special tool to pull it towards you. Inside the phone are the motherboard, battery, cables and other components. The parts are fixed with screws and glue.
The blogger noted that the process of disassembling the device was not very difficult. The technician had to unscrew and remove nineteen screws to get to the wireless charging coil and NFC antenna. To replace the display, the Galaxy S22 must be completely disassembled and the front panel must be heated to loosen the adhesive. The author gave the flagship 7.5 points on a ten-point maintainability rating.
The host of the PBKreviews channel also appreciated the strength of the phone. He found that the screen and rear glass panel pick up minor scratches after contact with hard metal objects. Due to the fact that the frame, buttons, SIM card tray and other parts are made of aluminum, it is quite difficult to break the integrity of the device.
The announcement of the flagship smartphones took place on February 9, the lineup includes the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra models. The most affordable device of the series can be purchased in Russia for 80 thousand rubles.
