Apple laptops will receive a “monobrow” from the iPhone

Apple may add a screen cutout to MacBooks. This is reported by the MacRumors edition.

Journalists drew attention to a post on one of the forums from an authoritative user Ty98. According to him, the American company is going to radically redesign its MacBook Air and Pro laptops. In particular, a “monobrow” will appear on the display of devices – like in modern iPhones.

The purpose of the screen cutout is not disclosed. Reporters suggested that the notch would house the cameras and sensors of the device, making the display bezels thinner. There is also an assumption that in this way the company can unify the design of their computers and smartphones.

In addition, the insider said that the design of the affordable MacBook Air will be “less sharp” by eliminating the tapered shape. A similar design has been present in the Apple computer since the launch of the line.

The release of devices with a new design is scheduled for 2022.

Apple will be holding its second fall presentation on October 18th. It is rumored that the event may show updated computers and wireless AirPods headphones. The first fall presentation of the iPhone 13 took place on September 14th.
