GSM Arena: Acer manufacturer will release new smartphones on March 25

Taiwanese company Acer planned to return to the smartphone market with new devices. It is reported by the GSM Arena publication.

Media journalists noticed that Acer is more often associated with computers and laptops, but the company produced smartphones. So, some of them were available in Russia. The authors of the GSM Arena found on the Web confirmation that at the end of March the company will release two new phones.

Both devices will relate to inexpensive devices and receive MediaTek processors released from 4 to 6 years ago. The first device will have a 6.5-inch IPS screen, 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory, 16-megapixel chamber. He will also receive a 5000 milliampper hour and FM radio battery.

The second gadget will be released with a 6.74-inch IPS display, it will receive 4 gigabytes of the RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory, a 20-megapixel chamber, a 5000 milliammer-hour battery. The phone will have the Android 14 operating system.

The announcement of the devices is expected on March 25. Media experts are not sure that smartphones were developed by engineers of the Taiwanese company: most likely, Acer acquired phones from unknown suppliers and agreed that she would sell them under her trading name. The company also had previously arrived with televisions, headphones and scooters.

Earlier, insiders said that Samsung corporation prepared to release a smartphone with a high strength body. The Galaxy S25 Edge case is expected to be recordly thin.
