Charging has broken on the new smartphones of Samsung

Samsung smartphones owners complained that the function of fast charging has broken on their devices. Android Police paid attention to this.

Galaxy S25+ and S25 ULTRA users told about problems – they reported problems at the official Samsung and Reddit forum. Most often, consumers complain that their smartphones are too slowly charged – even when the notification is on on the screen that the Super Changing 2.0 fast charging function is turned on. In some cases, the original charging adapter simply does not charge the device.

Some users, as journalists noted, said that fast charging does not work when connecting an adapter on 45 watts belonging to the previous smartphone of the series – Galaxy S24 – or earlier gadgets. “All chargers that I used with my S21+do not work with a new smartphone,” said Reddit visitor under the nickname IdontPostonreddit40.

“My S23 is charged from a 45-watt charger to a super-construction charging without any problems,” said the Galaxy S25 user under the nickname Flix02. The owner of the Galaxy S25 Ultra under the nickname Stevekrytus noted that the charging on its device is constantly interrupted, even if the original adapter is connected.

Specialists of the Italian branch of Samsung drew attention to the problem. They promised to fix it in the future and recommended to use the Oril charger accessories from Samsung.

Earlier, IFIXIT specialists evaluated the repairs of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The authors called it the most repressive Galaxy smartphone, while noting that it is quite difficult to serve the device at home.
