Cirp: American consumers began to buy new iPhone more often
American consumers began to change their iPhone more often and buy new devices. This was reported by Appleinsider with reference to the study of Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (Cirp).
Analysts analyzed the purchases of US residents in December 2024 and noticed that many owners of Apple’s smartphones updated their gadgets. Based on these data, they found that over the year, the share of users who update their iPhone once a year increased from 7 to 9 percent.
The share of owners of smartphones buying devices every two years increased from 24 to 27 percent. On the contrary, the proportion of consumers who change their iPhone once every two years decreased from 33 to 30 percent, once every three years – from 36 to 33 percent. Based on this information, they concluded that users from the United States began to change their devices more often.
CIRP experts believe that American users began to buy new smartphones more often due to sales and shares. Also, the actions of consumers are influenced by the Trade-in program, with which you can profitably exchange the old IPhone for a new one, and installments.
On February 13, the head of Apple Corporation Tim Cook announced the presentation of gadgets on February 19. It is expected that on this day the American company will present the 4 generation iPhone SE.
