Phonearena: Samsung recognized the problem of the Galaxy S24 displays and corrected the deficiency
Samsung Corporation recognized and corrected the problem, due to which the screens of its flagship smartphones worked with problems at low brightness. The publication of Phonearena paid attention to this.
Media journalists recalled that many users of the Galaxy S24 series smartphones complained that the displays of their devices at low brightness became granular. According to the famous ICE Universe insider, the company’s engineers drew attention to this problem and eliminated it.
Phonearena specialists noted that the granularity of the displays was manifested if the brightness of the phone was reduced to minimal values. This was especially noticeable at night. The company did not recognize the problem and denied that the granularity is related to marriage.
According to ICE Universe, the Galaxy S25 series, presented in January, do not have such a shortage. However, apparently, the granularity on the devices of the Galaxy S24 line could not be fixed – probably the problem is hardware. “Let’s hope that this time the Samsung quality control department has done its work well,” the journalists summed up.
In December 2024, users of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra talked about the screen defect, which they discovered after almost a year of using the device. The problem concerned the appearance of dirty and oily spots on the display-apparently due to poor-quality oleophobic coating.
