Today’s phones and TVs can connect wirelessly. If your Android phone is not more than 8-9 years old, it almost certainly has Miracast. Look into the settings and look for the “screen sharing” or “smart view” option – Manufacturers like to invent their own names, but it’s all the same. What about iPhone? Here the matter is simpler – they don’t have Miracast. Apple has its own AirPlay system.
And how to send a picture from a laptop or computer? In Windows, just press the Windows + K key combination or right -click on the network icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Select “Design” and then wait for your TV the system. Just remember that the computer must support Wi -Fi – the function will not work via the cable internet.
How to combine it?
Turn on the TV and look for the option of wireless display in the sources menu. In the phone, turn on the screen sharing, wait for your TV to find and … that’s all. No cables, no codes to enter.
Do you have an older TV that has no Miracast option? Never mind. Then just a small adapter for several dozen zlotys, which you will pour on the HDMI port. It costs several dozen zlotys and turns any TV into the Miracast receiver.
Before you start – a few important comments
Miracast has some restrictions. When you send the image, your phone is practically immobilized. Every touch of the screen, every incoming message – everything will appear on the TV. It is also worth remembering that sometimes the connection can be capricious. The further the phone from the TV, the greater the chance to break the image. Miracast does not like walls and major distances. If the image is a bit delayed, it’s also normal. You can improve this by closing unnecessary applications on your phone.
