Bloomberg: New iPhone SE to Come in 2025, Will Get OLED Screen and AI
Apple will introduce a cheap iPhone SE in early 2025, Bloomberg reports.
According to the agency’s observer Mark Gurman, the American corporation has planned the release of the new iPhone SE for the first quarter of 2025. It will be a compromise smartphone and the first phone in the SE series since 2022.
Gurman found out that the device will receive an OLED display, like all current Apple smartphones. It will also work with Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence (AI) services. Earlier, the company announced that the proprietary neural network will only work with iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max smartphones, as well as Mac computers based on M processors.
In conclusion, Mark Gurman noted that visually the fourth-generation iPhone SE will be similar to the iPhone 14. Most likely, the device will lose the physical Home button. The analyst believes that the device will cost $500, or about 45 thousand rubles. Gurman noted that if this price turns out to be relevant, the new SE will become a hit on the market.
In early August, it became known that Apple would charge money for using its neural network. It is expected that a subscription to Apple Intelligence could cost between $10 and $20 per month.
