SamMobile: Galaxy AI neural network will appear on millions of Samsung smartphones
Samsung Corporation will make its Galaxy AI neural network available to millions of smartphone users, SamMobile reports.
According to media sources, the artificial intelligence (AI) service will appear on Galaxy A series smartphones by the end of the year. Devices in this line are considered the most common among Samsung smartphones and some of the cheapest.
Insiders reported that AI will be available first for Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 smartphones. Then the company will roll out access to older phones in the series. Previously, Galaxy AI, which was introduced in January, only worked on the flagship Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra gadgets.
Media journalists noted that not all AI functions will work on inexpensive smartphones due to hardware limitations. However, in the case of Apple, for example, the Apple Intelligence neural network will only appear on flagship gadgets, which include the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
Earlier, IDC experts said that smartphones with artificial intelligence (AI) support will occupy almost the entire market in the next few years. According to experts, by the end of 2024, AI devices will occupy 19 percent of the market.
