The most expensive Samsung flip phone was tested for durability

Blogger Destroys Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Using Sand and a Knife

A popular blogger under the nickname JerryRigEverything tested the durability of the current foldable Samsung smartphone. The corresponding video is available on the author’s YouTube channel.

A specialist studying gadget design got his hands on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. This is the most expensive folding phone of the Korean brand, priced at a minimum of $1,900, or about 160 thousand rubles. During the experiment, JerryRigEverything found out that the device’s weak point is the folding display.

The enthusiast managed to leave marks on the metal body of the device using a knife. He also tested the functionality of the Samsung flagship hinge by placing the device in sand. According to him, the smartphone hinge did not fail after contact with loose materials. However, using a knife, the blogger actually managed to destroy the display of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

During the tests, the author removed the protective film from the internal flexible display and then easily accessed the insides of the smartphone. According to him, users should carefully use the screen of the Samsung flagship and avoid contact with hard objects.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable smartphone and other flagships at an event on July 10. The device received a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and a triple camera.
