The breach of confidentiality and part of personal data, which are in the databases of AP stores, operated by the external company Atomstore, occurred on July 21-24. The incident concerns only “clients of the platforms: nowafarmacja.pl, zielnik.pl and sales conducted through the Allegro platform” – it was reported. Therefore, it does not concern customers and patients of stationary pharmacies.
Information about customers of the Nowa Farmacja pharmacy was leaked. What data was breached?
As stated in the press release, some basic information about the pharmacy’s customers was compromised. It includes the following data:
- first name and last name,
- shipping address,
- e-mail adress,
- Telephone,
- IP address,
- list of purchased products.
It was also assured that “online stores operated by AP do not store medical data or sensitive data in the form of a PESEL number, hence there is no need to block it.”

In a statement published by the pharmacy, it was reported that individual notifications were sent electronically to the people whose data was disclosed. “Your personal data may be used for fraud attempts, including through fake text messages or by delivering information (including commercial information) to your email address, to which you have not consented,” it was reported.
Previous passwords in online stores have been invalidated, and information and questions regarding the incident can be sent to the e-mail address: ochronadanych@nowafarmacja.pl. “The store would like to assure you that the matter is treated as a priority and with the utmost seriousness,” it added.
