The writers have been preparing viewers for this step for some time, because in the previous season the character rarely appeared in the hospital due to health problems. In the first episodes after the summer break, he is to officially announce his resignation from the position and launch a competition for the new head of cardiac surgery, who will ultimately be Maks Beger (Tomasz Ciachorowski).
According to reports, the plot of Professor Adam Markiewicz (played by Maciej Troński) is also hanging in the balance.
