Musk: Tesla to Launch Production of Humanoid Robots in 2026
Tesla plans to launch mass production of humanoid robots in 2026. The company’s founder, Elon Musk, wrote about this on the social network X.
“Next year Tesla will have truly useful humanoid robots, their number for internal Tesla use will be small. In 2026 we hope to start mass production [роботов] for other companies,” he said.
In June, Ubergizmo reported that the Tesla Optimus Gen 2 robot would cost $10,000 to produce. The machine could hit the market at an estimated price of $10,000 to $20,000.
