China fits a powerful PC into a keyboard

Ling Long has released a keyboard with a built-in processor and memory

Chinese company Ling Long has placed a computer in a keyboard case, HotHardware reports.

The Ling Long Keyboard PC concept device, created in a small batch of 200 units, looks like a computer keyboard. According to journalists, the device is actually a PC housed in a compact case.

The device’s distinctive feature is the powerful AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor, which is used in high-performance laptops. The device also supports up to 32 gigabytes of RAM and has a 1 terabyte drive.

The computer also contains a battery that lasts for 10 hours. In addition, Ling Long engineers placed cooling tubes and fans. The personal computer, designed in the form of a keyboard, can be folded in half for transportation.

It is not known whether Ling Long will launch the device into large-scale production. The cost of the PC is also not disclosed. The company assures that Ling Long Keyboard PC can be used to work with “heavy” programs and artificial intelligence (AI).

In early July, analysts at electronics distributor OCS reported that in the first three months of 2024, the share of domestic monitors on the Russian market reached 10 percent. At the same time, two years ago, the share of Russian gadgets did not exceed one percent.
