MacRumors: Apple began selling Vision Pro in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore

The reasons cited are a small number of applications for Vision Pro, low autonomy, and high cost. In the US, the device was priced at a minimum of $3,500 (about 298 thousand rubles), while in China, the device appeared at a price of at least 30 thousand yuan (350 thousand rubles).
On July 12, the glasses are expected to go on sale in other Asian and European countries — the UK, France, Germany, Australia. Also on that day, the headset will be available for purchase for residents of Canada. Vision Pro went on sale in the US in February.
Earlier, sources told The Information that Apple had frozen the second-generation Vision Pro augmented reality headset project. Instead of a flagship device, the company will focus on developing a cheaper version of the device.
