iPhone 15 Gets Cheaper in Russia

Hi-Tech Mail.ru: iPhone 15 price dropped to 75 thousand rubles

The price of the iPhone 15, which was introduced a year ago, has dropped on the Russian market. This was noted by the publication Hi-Tech Mail.ru.

At the start of sales, the basic Apple device could be available for 125-170 thousand rubles. By summer, the device had fallen in price to 75 thousand rubles. According to media journalists, a number of sellers even had the smartphone available for 71-72 thousand rubles. Thus, the iPhone 15 has fallen in price by about 40 percent.

“It was presented at the end of last year, but today it is considered the newest iPhone,” the authors of Hi-Tech Mail.ru described the device. The successor to the iPhone 15 is expected to be released in the fall of 2024.

The smartphone has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, an A16 Bionic processor, 6 gigabytes of RAM, and at least 128 gigabytes of internal memory. On the back of the iPhone 15 there is a dual camera with 48 and 12 megapixel lenses. The phone is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 3349 milliamp-hours.

Earlier it became known that the iPhone 15 Plus, introduced in the fall of 2023, fell in price on the Russian market. If at the start of sales the device was valued at 140 thousand rubles, then by summer the device dropped in price to 85 thousand rubles.
